The PC is equipped ex-works with a variety of features, which makes it ideal for installation in large enterprise networks and helps to lower the TCO. Super-silent owing to an advanced electronically controlled fan system, this deskbox can be used wherever space is at a premium. The SCENIC S 2 comes with a choice of processors. It features the latest Low Profile technology and makes handling simplier. For instance, important connections are located on the front panel for easy access. And the EasyChange facility makes it possible to change hard disks without using a screwdriver.

Production and selection of material is optimized to the aspect of environmental protection. Development, production, transportation and recycling are aligned to legal requirements and strong internal environmental directives.

Particular emphasis was put on the mainboard production and the selection of materials. The use of lead-free and halogen-free printed circuit boards as well as lead-free soldering processes makes it possible to reduce the lead content per mainboard from 12g to less than 3g. The same is also true for chlorides and bromine. Fujitsu Siemens Computers has rounded out its green concept with ISO-14001-certified production (EU environmental audit standard), i.e. to reduce negative impact on the environment by means of constant improvement.
