| The
Interactive Plasma Display is ideal for all classrooms particularly
special needs. Just like an interactive whiteboard it forms
an ideal focus for group teaching, allowing activities to
be a shared experience – but it solves the accessibility
problems associated with many whiteboards. |

| The
Display has a clear, bright image that is not affected by
the user's shadow or ambient light, which also means that
there is no need to black out the room when using it. With
no projector there is no risk to vision from staring into
the light and no 'hotspot' on the screen, which is an added
advantage for visually impaired pupils.
The height adjustable stand has been designed to allow easy
access for wheelchairs. In fact, it is easy to adjust the
height for different users while the board is in use. The
mechanism is electronic and the wide adjustment range means
the board can suit anyone from toddlers to tall teachers
quickly and easily – and with no need to re-calibrate
the screen in between! The stand can also easily be moved
from room to room.
The Display does not require consumable items such as expensive
projector lamps and does not have moving parts such as fans.
This makes for reliability and has the added advantage of
quiet operation (pupils with hearing impairment may find
the noise from a cooling fan distracting). They are low
maintenance too, with no need to keep cleaning filters as
on an interactive whiteboard.
