or the film adapter unit, it also comes complete with a

With the additional FAU (Film Adapter Unit FAU-S13), high
quality reproduction of both positive and negative films
from 35mm to 4 x 5 inches is enabled. Using Canon’s
own Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement (FARE) correction
technology, automatic retouching of images damaged by dirt
and scratches is quick and easy. Batch scanning for 35mm
speeds operation still further and professional image management
software completes this powerful in-house solution.
