The
Bubble Jet i6500 printer is a high quality, wide format
A3+ colour printer, designed to deliver supreme prints
and fulfil even specialist print requirements of graphic
artists and other creative offices.
The printer offers efficiency,
excellent print quality and maximum productivity without
compromise. The Bubble
Jet i6500 achieves 4800 x 1200* dpi resolution, which means
that more ink can be placed on the paper for better colour
range and photo quality. Greater image definition makes
the i6500 ideal for discerning professional users.
The Bubble Jet i6500 produces high print quality by taking
full advantage of Canon's advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology™ to
deliver microscopic 5 picolitre ink droplets on to the
paper accurately and consistently in all print modes. The
Bubble Jet i6500 is capable of handling heavy print loads,
with a ppm speed of up to 17 A4 pages in mono and up to
12 A4 pages for colour documents. The printer is also capable
of fast borderless printing in A3, A3+, A4, 4"x6" and
5"x7" formats. With the optional iProof PowerRIP 2000™ PostScript
Raster Image Processor, the i6500 provides a highly competitive
professional quality proofing solution that allows graphic
artists to achieve perfectly accurate colour proofs.

7Precautions
on Storing Printed Images: The 25 years of lightfastness
may not be achieved depending on storage conditions.
The expressed number of years is the result of simulated
tests conducted by Canon Inc. and is not guaranteed.
This number of years does not apply for paper fading
or durability. After printing allow the ink to dry completely.
Store your images in albums, clear plastic folders, or
glass frames in order to avoid exposing them to the open
air.
Never store printed images in locations subject to high
temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight. Store
them at normal room temperature.
(Do not use albums with self-adhesive pages to store
your images since you will not be able to remove them
later on.)
Tested on Photo Paper Pro (PR-101) under the following
conditions; Temperature: 24°C, Humidity: 60%, Light source:
White fluorescent light 70,000lux, Layer of air and 2mm
thick glass on the sample, Presumed conditions: Assuming
one day’s illumination as 5
In-house Evaluation criteria (Based on ISO)- Single colour/Composite
colour: A colour change has occurred if the density is
under 70% (OD: 1.0->0.7).
Process Black: The fading ratio between each colour is
within 15%, and A colour change has occurred if the density
is under 70% (OD: 1.0->0.7)
