MarkVision Professional makes network printer and MFP management
across TCP/IP and IPX networks simple. A customisable task-orientated
interface allows you to access those tasks you need and
then select the printers you want to work with. For reactive
helpdesk environments, finding printers is quick, easy and
can be automatic along with the ability to schedule finding
printers periodically.
Printers, including multiple vendor printer and MFP types
using SNMP, are organised into dynamic hierarchical folders
with real-time filters for efficient management of large
numbers of printers.
Real-time remote management
MarkVision's online version of the printer operator
panel allows you to control the printer in "real-time"
at your desk eliminating the need to travel to the remote
printer location. Real-time notification of printing conditions
can generate automatic e-mails (for example to order new
toner when a toner low condition is realised) or other actions
using the MarkVision Messenger component. This helps administrators
to correct potential issues before they occur. End user
productivity up and help desk costs down.
Productivity tools to help manage costs and ensure
productivity
MarkVision Professional can run as an application
or in a web browser in multiple environments. It can collect
valuable information on all jobs printed on the network
and place this information into a standard database (Oracle,
access and SQL server) for later use to monitor printing
trends.
This information, as well as running printer inventories,
can be scheduled to run at anytime to ensure
maximum efficiency.
MarkVision Professional improves productivity by allowing
administrators to setup personal or group accounts to control
user involvement. Links can also be configured to provide
convenient access to specific web pages.
