Device Manager
Oki have recognised the requirements of network administrators
who want all of the utility functions of the printer to be
accessed easily. Oki Software Engineering have developed a
utility that manages all the following functions from one
single, easy to use Windows utility – the Oki Storage
Device Manager Software.
- Manage fonts downloaded to the printer’s RAM,
flash SIMM, or hard disk.
- Manage macros downloaded to the printer’s RAM,
flash SIMM, or hard disk.
- Manage forms downloaded to the printer’s RAM,
flash SIMM, or hard disk.
- Maintain the usage of the hard disk.
Administrators can set up printer configurations within
the software and apply to any printer within the enterprise
over IP or local machine connection. A single printer ‘project’
file can contain macros fonts and even print jobs.
Easy to use screens help the administrators understand exactly
how the machine is configured and the various peripheral
resources utilised. |
