Keyboard and remotes for the Immersive Room

Switching on

Before turning on the system, ensure you have the small black remote and any white projector remotes provided. You also received a wireless keyboard, which isn’t needed daily, so keep it safe.

 

Before switching on the immersive room

Step 1 – Projectors

Locate the white projector remotes and turn on the projectors first, you may have a different remote for the floor and wall projectors.

The projectors may take a while to turn on while they warm up

When the projectors start to display it may appear as the projectors are out of alignment, this is only due to the fact the PC hasn’t been switched on yet. This is normal

 

Locate the PC

Somewhere in the room will be a cabinet that houses the PC. This will either be mounted up high, outside the room or on the floor dependant on the installation requirements.

Inside the cabinet will be the PC, press the on button and a light will appear to indicate the PC is now on.

Once the PC is switched on the Windows Desktop will appear, the Imaginate Suite will load automatically. This may take a few minutes.

Imaginate Suite

Once the software loads it will run through a licence verification process, your room needs to be connected to the internet for this licence verification to be successful. If you room isn’t connected to the internet please follow the pop up wizard instructions to get the room connected.

Once the licence has validated it will begin to play activities from the Imaginate Suite until you press the home button on the remote.

Play

Shuffle– This will play all the available activities available within the Imaginate Suite. Using the black remote you can skip to the next activity.

By Profile– This enables you to select a profile you have created within the Creative Suite or to select a default profile provided. Creating your own profiles allows you to select only the activities you would like to play, in the order you would like to play them, for the required time.

Browse Library– Select an individual activity to play or play a whole activity type. This will only play the selected activity until you press the home button on the remote.

Help– In this section you can learn about the different activity types and what element of customisation you have within the Creative Suite

Play

You tube- Access pre selected educational YouTube clips. Please note a connection to the internet is required to access this feature.

Event – Access themed activities tailored around events, awareness days and seasons. Please note a connection to the internet is required to access this feature.

Settings

Network- Access available Wi-Fi networks

Close– Choose this option if you want to close the Imaginate Suite Software and access the windows desktop

Restart– Restart the machine and software

Shutdown– At the end of a session this will close of the PC and Software, leaving you to manually switch off the projectors with the white remote

Creative Suite

As part of the Imaginate Suite, you gain exclusive access to the Creative Suite.

Once the software has loaded, you’ll be prompted to begin your journey. Simply sign up with your email address to unlock access to the Creative Suite. Alternatively, if you’ve been provided with a username and password, you can log in directly.

Switching of the Projectors

After shutting down the Immersive Room—either by selecting the Shutdown button in the Settings menu or pressing the red button on the black remote—the final step is to turn off the projectors.

To do this, locate the white remote and press the Off button to power down the projectors. Be sure to follow the on-screen instructions to complete the shutdown process.
